1996년 프랑스 텔레비전 프로그램 Taratata에서 방송한 공연이다. 둘이 노래하는 걸 듣고 있으면 비에 아주 흠뻑 젖은 모습이 떠오른다. 나도 저런 촉촉한 분위기에 취했으면 좋겠다는 생각을 가끔 한다. 신이 들린 듯이 뭔가에 몰두할 수 있는 열정이 부럽다.
재즈 색소폰 연주자인 크리스 보띠의 공연 DVD에서 폴 뷰캐년을 처음 봤다. 무대를 휘어잡는 화려한 스타일은 아니지만 그의 목소리는 관객의 마음을 울리는 공명이 있었다. 폴 뷰캐년은 특히 감정을 아주 잘 살려서 부른다. 그의 사생활이 어떤지는 모르지만, 특히 그가 부르는 외로움은 가슴을 파고든다.
